Pat, if you had any idea what you meant to so many of your fans then perhaps you would see yourself in a different light. Yes, you know that many of us follow you from town to town while you are on tour. What you don’t see is that how the sound of your voice makes us happy, lifts our souls and brightens our day! In fact, your music enhances our lives and for some of us, has helped us get through some very rough times. In the worst of times, I have sought comfort in the sound of your voice. When I listen to you sing, all of life’s problems vanish momentarily. It is much more than music that you are creating. Carol

Dear Pat, I very often have trouble figuring out why people behave the way that they do. For me, for my own soul, I treat people with the respect and kindness that I would like to receive. I don’t often get the same treatment in return. Even though it is hard, I continue on my way because I am on my own life path of learning and evolving. So is everyone else. People who do not treat others with love and respect have not yet discovered what life is all about. Dear Pat, three years ago I was in a terrible accident. For a long time, I thought that I should have died in that accident. I was in severe physical, emotional and spiritual pain. The only thing that got me through was the fact that you were touring. I have attending 15 concerts in the last 2 1/2 years. I always managed to get front row center seats. Staring into your eyes and listening to your angelic voice kept me going. Each concert gave me something to look forward to. It was something to be happy about. I am looking forward to seeing you in Illinois on July 30 and again in Indy on Aug. 18th. It still brings me immense pleasure. You got me through the roughest period in my life. You gave me something to look forward to when I felt as if I had nothing to look forward to. To me, each show was a spiritual moment as you touched my soul. See you soon, Love Carol
Dear Pat, there are times when people come into our lives to teach us a lesson and promote soul growth. Wisedom is not gained during times of happiness, but rather during times of adversity. I would consider what you have learned from dealing with the people who have hurt you? What insight or wisedom have you learned from these experiences? The path that your soul has taken has brought you to the place where you are now—a place of wanting to learn the lesson of forgiveness! It is a hard lesson and you are standing in front of it. Dear Pat, instead of trying to understand why some people might make negative comments about you, because I certainly can’t understand why anyone would do that, I want to tell you something very positive. I was the woman that you handed your “Marry Me” t-shirt to recently in Indianapolis. I can’t tell you how much that meant to me. Two and a half years ago I was in a horrible auto accident. I suffered a brainstem stroke, 13 rotated vertebrae, head injury, severe nerve damage, temporary paralysis, speech and cognitive issues. I now suffer from epilepsy and chronic pain. For two and a half years, I have followed you to as many shows as I can. That is about ten of them now. You have brought me more joy and happiness than you will ever know. Watching you and your amazing talent has gotten me through this very trying period of my life. Each concert gave me something to look forward to. I can’t wait to see you at the next concert.
